Contemptor Dreadnought Alpha Legion – The Contemptor Dreadnoughts of the Legiones Astartes enabled the mortally injured warriors interred within them to continue to serve their Legions during the Great Crusade, and many fought at the forefront of some of the bloodiest and fiercest battles of the Horus Heresy. It may be taken in Legiones Astartes armies in Horus Heresy games using the rules presented in The Horus Heresy Book One Betrayal and The Horus Heresy Legiones Astartes: Crusade Army List. Contemptor Dreadnoughts can also be taken as part of a Space Marines army in standard games, for which the rules can be found in Imperial Armour Volume Two War Machines of the Adeptus Astartes, Second Edition or in a Chaos Space Marines army, for which rules can be found in Imperial Armour Volume Thirteen War Machines of the Lost and the Damned.
