Black Templars The Emperor’s Champion – On the eve of battle, one amongst the Black Templar host will receive a vision from the Emperor that speaks of the future, the past and the great deeds he will perform in His service. This warrior is gifted with the Black Sword and the Armour of Faith – both revered relics that are many thousands of years old and phenomenally powerful. It is the duty and honour of the Emperor’s Champion to seek out the champions of the enemy and challenge them to single combat.
