Terminator Chaplain Tarentus – The Adeptus Astartes, or simply the Space Marines, are the elite military force of the Imperium. Not overly numerous, Space Marines are renowned for their high mobility. Having established themselves as space special forces, the Adeptus Astartes are dozens of times superior to other troops of the Imperium, they are genetically modified people who, moreover, undergo the most severe selection, training, spiritual and psychic training. Like monks, Space Marines live in communities limited by Chapters, and meet other creatures only on the battlefield. Each order has its own philosophy and its own characteristics.
